Since then, April received a Masters degree in Dance and a Bachelors degree in Musical Theatre. In 2006, she performed in the National Tour of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. In 2007, she premiered her own dance play titled Recollections.
April’s regional credits include: Crazy For You (Mitzi/Dance captain), Carousel (Louise), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Martha), 42nd Street (Diane Lorimer), The Houston Symphony Pops Concert (dancer) and several other productions. April has also choreographed Godspell for Sam Houston State University and several other dance concerts presented at Sam Houston State. April continues to be an educator of dance and theatre; she is on the faculty at Lonestar College and HCC.
April will teach ballet and tap at The Studio of Tomball and will be working closely with Velocity Dance Comapany. Her talent in working with large scale productions will be hugely beneficial to our studio and to our competition company as well.
